Marja Mattlar, a Finnish folk singer-songwriter. Best known for writing the songs “Lintu” and “Kehtolaulu” which the Finnish metal band Timo Rautiainen and Trio Niskalaukaus covered and made well-known. She has released her own material since the early 1990’s with the help of different producers – for example: French folk musician Gabriel Yacoub from the group Malicorne and Finnish prog-rock legend Pekka Pohjola. On her latest albums she has worked with the members of the Finnish folk group tenhi.
